We report our sustainability performance in accordance with the Consolidated Set of GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards. The Global Reporting Initiative Standards is a framework for reporting on our economic, environmental, and social performance. GRI represents a universally applicable, comparable framework which facilitates transparency and accountability.

This report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option, with an in-depth and targeted reporting focusing on the most material topics to Telenor. Scope of the reporting is Telenor ASA and all Telenor’s subsidiaries directly or indirectly controlled by Telenor ASA (“business units”).

During 2019, Telenor Group has carried out an updated assessment of sustainability issues in accordance with the Global principles for defining report content through the following key steps; identification, prioritisation and validation. The materiality process is regularly revised through internal workshops and meetings within Telenor to adapt for changes in context, risk and stakeholder feedback.
